Had the lobster roll and fries from the restaurants pop up stall. Very enjoyable and would definitely recommend it as a treat.

My wife and I recently dined here, we were welcomed in by a courteous member of staff, introduced to the bar tender and taken upstairs to our seats. The menu is a solid varied seafood affair which gave us real problems trying to choose! Having chosen and relaxed into the gorgeous setting, we weren’t disappointed when our meals were brought. In all honesty it was just perfect, everything was laid out exquisitely and the taste was amazing. The staff were helpful, attentive without being intrusive. All together I really can’t think of anything negative, it was perfect.

What a brilliant place!
Excellent quality of food which was beautifully presented and was very tasty indeed. Lovely surroundings and the staff were excellent - very friendly and helpful, and knowledgeable about the menu. We topped off a very enjoyable afternoon with some cheeky cocktails which hit the spot perfectly. We'll definitely be back!

Best (and most unique) restaurant in St Andrews
I’ve eaten here a few times and every time it’s spectacular. This visit I ordered the octopus hotdog and the Loch Etive sea trout with smoked haddock tortellini and bisque. Both dishes were unique and cooked to perfection - I’d highly recommend trying these if they’re on the menu (the menu has been different every time I’ve been, which I’m a big fan of!). I finished with the affogato and liqueur - it’s nicely served and was a perfect way to end my meal. The drinks list is good too, on this visit I had the Rosé wine that’s offered by the glass, I’d recommend it. The staff are great too, really attentive but not pushy or over bearing, and they know the menu really well so can make great recommendations. I can’t recommend this place enough, it’s by far my favourite place in St Andrews!

Amazing food, with a couple drinks the bread is to die for. The staff are amazing, Jacob, Julia and Maddison really go out of there way to give you the best service; they can have a laugh as well as do their job. all round 10/10 would recommend to all of my friends

Mads is unreal, best patter, honestly give her a raise or like defo shares in the company cause why not? Bread also so good really would smash that again

The location was great, as was the food and the staff was very friendly, especially it with our overly curious child’s questions!

Great Surprise, Top notch Drinks, and Damn good food.
I love a surprise. What lured us in was street ad promoting lobster roles. We got there before opening so we peeked inside the window and saw a cool little bar and planned to come back later in the day. This was not what we expected in the best way possible. The menu is unique, especially compared with all the other menus we have seen around town that have the same pies, burgers etc. The biggest problem was deciding on what to have. My wife and I sat at the bar for about 3 hours before other family joined. Kyle, was entertaining and a great bartender. Make sure you ask for some "off menu" cocktails that are in his head. He made this Bourbon tea concoction that is absolutely dangerous, and inspiring. Kyle won an award at a cocktail competition for this one. I had a few of those. I have also never had a clear ( almost clear ) Espresso Martini before. Another surprise: they make a gin caviar. Seriously, so good. Along with the spicy margarita, and 30 some oysters and a couple of lobster rolls. We had an amazing time. Andy in the kitchen and Grace on the floor were wonderful as well. We are in St Andrews for 5 days, and I guarantee we will be rolling through a few more time. If you are a limited time in town, go here.
